Every LEGO Marvel set retiring in 2022 and beyond – September update

Thirty-three LEGO Marvel sets are due to leave shelves over the next few months, while the rest are all scheduled to retire by the end of 2023.

That means we could be looking at an entirely different LEGO Marvel line-up come January 2024, presumably comprised of sets introduced next year and beyond. And if this list remains unchanged throughout the next 12 months, it means you’ve only got a year and change to pick up heavy hitters like 76178 Daily Bugle, 76193 The Guardians’ Ship, the newly-released 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum and even the yet-to-be-released 76215 Black Panther.

It’s a big ‘if’, though, because retirement dates are always subject to change – and for the size of those sets, we wouldn’t be surprised to see several of them eventually retire in 2024 or later. (We’re specifically looking at the Black Panther bust, because that would be an incredibly short shelf life for the £299.99 / $349.99 / €349.99 set.)

Perhaps more pressing for LEGO Marvel fans at the minute are the 33 sets retiring by the end of 2022. You’ve only got a few months left to grab the likes of 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle, 76200 Bro Thor’s New Asgard and 76199 Carnage, and remember that December 31 isn’t a hard and fast date: these sets could theoretically sell out any time between now and the end of the year.

That list also includes 76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar, which – like all advent calendars – will enjoy very limited availability, before retiring to make way for next year’s LEGO Marvel advent calendar (should we get a third seasonal superhero set in 2023).
